GLANCE Cabinet Monitoring System

Monitor all your traffic intersection cabinet equipment and data easily with Glance®, which provides pass-through communications for third party traffic signal control systems. Applied Information’s Glance® data web interface displays incoming AC power, battery back-up status, cabinet flash, stop time, conflict monitor status, door switches, fan status, vehicle detectors, and more.

Emergency Vehicle Preemption used to benefit the fire department, but had to be maintained by the traffic department. The Glance® system changes the EVP marketplace by providing benefits to both end user groups.

The Glance® Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP) and Transit Signal Priority Systems (TSP) build on top of the Intersection and mobile modules. The system seamlessly combines cellular, radio transmission, and a rules-based engine makes the configuration simple and easy to adjust from the field or from Glance® cloud based server. Users are able to monitor the location and status of the vehicles at all times.
